You can choose from a variety of options. Recipes can be found at www.kingdomfestival.com/feast. Showcase your culinary skills, but please remember to use disposable trays for your creations.

NOTE: Please remember no pork or shellfish at this event. Meals containing pork, pork products, shellfish or shellfish products will be handed back.

DRESS UP A BIT

Feel free to express your style with smart casual attire, and don’t hesitate to add some brightness and liveliness to your outfit. Colourful, eccentric clothing is a great way to celebrate the Feasts of the Lord!

SPECIAL PALM FROND

Bring a palm frond, adding a meaningful touch to our praise and worship. Just as they welcomed Jesus into the city with “Hosannah” or “Save now,” we’ll incorporate this tradition into our celebration.

FREE WILL OFFERING

Join us in bringing a joyful, free-will offering. Your generosity will support three important causes: ensuring the success of next year’s festivals, assisting the less fortunate in our community, and funding original songs from Kingdom.

Let’s come together with joy, and enthusiasm, creating cherished memories at this wonderful celebration! Don’t forget to choose a recipe from below and start preparing your feast to share on Friday the 29th of September.

BALSAMIC LONDON BROIL WITH ROASTED ONIONS

“What is ‘London broil’ on a cow? It’s not a specific cut but a marinating and pan-frying method to tenderize meat, typically flank steak. Surprisingly, ‘London broil’ isn’t known in England; it’s an American innovation for tougher cuts. Kosher butchers even label lean, tough cuts as ‘London broil.’ So, the origin is puzzling, but you can transform this affordable meat into a gourmet dish.”

PAMPUSHKY - UKRAINIAN GARLIC BREAD ROLLS

Pampushky, Ukrainian garlic rolls, are renowned for their soft and fluffy texture. In Ukraine, often referred to as the ‘breadbasket’ of the Soviet Union, garlic and bread are culinary staples. These rolls pair traditionally with borscht, enhancing the soup’s beet sweetness with garlic’s sharpness. It’s so common to enjoy garlic and bread with borscht that my grandparents would simply have slices of brown bread and raw garlic cloves alongside their soup.

ROSEMARY BALSAMIC CHICKEN

The Balsamic Rosemary Chicken recipe is a delightful dish featuring tender chicken breasts marinated in a flavorful blend of balsamic vinegar, fragrant rosemary, and other spices. It’s then grilled or roasted to perfection, creating a harmonious balance of savory and tangy flavors that make it a delectable and easy-to-prepare meal.

Iranians have cultivated a diverse array of rice types, leading to a treasure trove of aromatic dishes. These include saffron-infused rice with tender meats, sweet rice adorned with dried fruits or tart cherries, vegetable-infused rice often combined with legumes, and even opulent rice embellished with jewels, once reserved for royal feasts.
